I try not to spoil things in my webcomic but I don't think I can hide the fact that Lawrence is fond for his schoolmate. Can a farm boy and a distant relative of the royal family make things work, who knows.

I don't talk much about my characters and their attractions because they're teenagers working things out slowly, and they have their whole lives ahead of them, but I do think Edel is ace... Sometimes you just fall into wanting to be near someone your whole life though. (Also, someone who, CURRENTLY IN THE COMIC, is kind of majorly bummed out by SOMEONE'S disappearance.)

(here's an old drabble)

"That should do it," there was a small smile on Edel's face, a sign he was in a rather pleasant mood, "I think we'll be fine."

"Naturally," Lawrence stretched, spreading his arms up towards the ceiling as he reclined on Edel's bed, "Of all the tutors, I'd say you'd be the most popular if you took on more jobs. You'd make bank."

He frowned. Ah, there it was. His normal looking face. Lawrence still liked it, all and all, "I-I only study so much because I have no natural gift for this. Besides, I don't do this for the money."

He knew he meant him, "Natural gift does nothing without passion, right? I think you have more than enough of that. Besides, anyone can be smart, but if you donned those robes, everyone would know immediately 'Ah, I can trust that guy. I mean, he's got the name of flowers.'

"...Lawrence," Edel's face brightened, he was far too easy to read.

"He knows his stuff," he continued, letting out a small laugh.

"And what? People would look at you and think you're there to cause trouble, is that it?"

"They'd probably ask how did they let this guy graduate."

"Through grit and stubbornness," Edel sighed, "... At least you're hearty."
