I am so used to writing shit in VSCode and other IDEs that I keep accidentally deleting portions of my writing everywhere else. I highlight a big block of text to put in quotes or parenthesis and hit the quote/open parenthesis key to do so - and it just overwrites the highlighted text with the single character. Help.
