I've got two hexcrawls settings, Games Omnivorous' Bottled Sea and Endless Sands, that likely won't make it to the table with friends for a grip, so why not use them for solo RPG play? Preferably something fantasy/sci-fi/genre adjacent and newer (DB content double whammy), but I'm totally open to tactical, journalling or any other storytelling mode.

It might not be what you're looking for, but I love the elegance of Cezar Capacle's "Kismet" (https://capacle.itch.io/kismet). Hmm, I wonder if user @capacle is Cezar? (Edit: yes it is!)
I also like "Ironsworn" by @ShawnTomkin (https://shawn-tomkin.itch.io/ironsworn) as a solo game.
