  • When someone critiques a scene I wrote that is essentially a 1-to-1 of my own, personal experiences and they say "I don't know if you ever [thing that happened in scene], but that's not how you would feel/react/act"

  • When people say the above despite me explicitly stating that the scene is based on my own experiences (like, yes, I understand that I'm neurodivergent so I probably do not have the exact same reactions as you're "supposed" to have, but even amongst neurotypicals, there's going to be a huge array of possible reactions people have. There is no one singular correct way to respond to something)
