This is a Monstera adansonii, so its more swiss cheese-y than the "regular" monstera whose holes go all the way to the edge of the leaf. When I got it, it was in a pot about the size of the purple one, so when I transferred it, it wasn't too much bigger. But, WOW, did it keep on growing! And I was making stakes for it out of...Wendy's straws. And twist ties from, like, bread bags or whatever.

But it was getting to the point where that wasn't really working anymore! So I had to get a MUCH bigger pot (but not TOO big since it still has to fit on this plant stand) AND figure out some sort of support situation. So I used 3 metal sticks with round ends but put those ends in the pot so the dirt would keep it in space better and then tied them at the top to make a pyramid.

Once that top vine's leaf unfurls then I might cut it off and propogate it so I can add it to the base and make the whole situation bushier and less spindly.

I got it from a local nursery but I think I've seen them at Trader Joe's before? I haven't even had it for a year and it grows like nuts lol. I actually had to turn off the grow lights for my not-succulents because the summer sunlight was kinda too much lol. So yeah, pick one up if you want a plant that goes hard lol
