IDK what it is about Cohost, but there's something about being here that gives some real nostalgia about the internet like 15 years ago or so, in a good way of course
I feel like the css art/crimes are an up-to-date version of the screwing around with the computer for the sake of screwing around with the computer that's obviously always been around but in those early web days we were excitedly typing in our <i>s and <b>s and using big and small letters and changing colors and putting little GIFs everywhere and you can't do that on FB or the birdsite and that took the casual easy shared fun of that away.
