Wait what the heck, this uses the spin animation instead? That's neat!
I based this off a beyblade animation post! It doesnβt really use spin afaik, Iβm just not 100% familiar with the animation property for it to work with that removed lol
revisiting this because i've learned more about css animate in subsequent posts.
it works because despite what the keyframes for spin say to do, if you instead provide your own parameters for translate your settings will take precedent and allow it to animate in entirely different ways than intended. (even if my two newer posts are in fact just different kinds of spinning objects)
oh my god I think I understand how that can work. there's a single keyframe and it's equivalent to no transform at all, so if you change the base transform⦠whoa. thank you for telling me about this. I really need to try it out
