Roommate lost her job today (very nice of them to do it litterally the last day of the month). The company got acquired about a year and a half ago and she'd felt very unsteady ever since, and it's been not great for her.
She definitely has savings and she has family so it's not like we're going to be worrying about rent but, man, companies really don't give a shit about people, huh.
