[Plott Hound Magazine] is a brand new market for speculative fiction about animals (anthro or otherwise) and it'll pay pro rates, which means 8 cents USD per word.
The fandom used to have a market like this, but the editor went full into AI and got really ableist defending it, which lost her both the support of the furry writing community and the mainstream speculative writers.
So this is super exciting news! The link I'm sharing with this post is there submission guidelines so you can familiarize yourself with them. Once it's officially open (and the Kickstarter launches and any other important info happens), I'll post about it on here and everywhere else. I want to see this succeed! So I'm spreading the word (and it would be cool if you could, too, but no pressure if you don't wanna!)
And, like always, I know way too much about the "professional" submitting process so if there's something about that you don't know or want to learn more about it, feel free to ask me lol
