YEAH some of them are cute but there are some that don't feel at all like the charas they're based off of, esp since sanrio are the kings of simple and cute designs.
you're absolutely right!! i was gonna add some of them barely feel like a callback to the original design 😩 the kuromi one is such a letdown it's just a guy in a jacket with headphones when they could have done a fun goth jester design instead!!!
