i thrifted a couple pair of leather boots a while ago. very gender. (they do both give me blisters so maybe i should have bought new djdjdjd)
also i wouldn't recommend docs, their quality is pretty poor. i'd go with combat or work boots.

i don't know honestly, i'm realizing this might be a thing specific to my city with all the blue collar work around but there are work boot shops that you can just visit and ask questions.
I live in a somewhat rural place (though its pretty touristy, attracting a lot of upper class people from Toronto in the summer) so it might not be too hard for me to find a good place for boots.
