Spore.
This is not a joke I'm dead fucking serious. I want to see what absolutely batshit stuff can be done to bump this game up to modern standards. I'm talking longer storylines, each evolution Era being longer or more fully developed, and the space stage actually having post game shit and more fleshed out...everything, really.
Stop remaking successful games. Remake Spore. Do it cowards.

Spore always felt like a passion project, a 'what if' from before the studio got bought.
Given the small team working on it spent 7 years making the game back in the early naughties, I absolutely agree. And they had to cut so much to get it done in that amount of time. I would love to see what a larger team could create today.
Totally. We went too far towards modern games using all the improvements in computer power to just make graphics more and more 'realistic.' I want to see games that put that power towards more complex simulations.
