OK, I wrote an absolute tearjerker for when Ada tells Glitch about Malia.
But I want Glitch to remember this conversation but it's possible that Ada has it before her memory starts resetting.
I think to solve this I need to introduce a new rulebook that runs when a spell of time is initialized. I have rulebooks for advancement and reset, but not initialization.
I was thinking of having to do this anyway so Ada can correctly remember how many times she's looked at herself.
OK, that's implemented to the point I can write a test for it. There's an obvious test I could use but I think this may be time to write the speedrun version of the apartment so I can begin to shift tests using the current longer playthrough to it.
I'm actually feeling really glad that I decided to write these bits before I moved on to bringing over First Tutorial nodes. This meant I discovered some general mechanics I was still missing.
It's late enough, however that this might be a tomorrow thing.
