apparently setting the font to comic sans help you write a lot more because how can you do wrong typing stuff in comic sans? You're just goofing around.

But yeah, I know the feeling. Early in my career, I spend a full week not being able to write a single line of code. Huge fear/paralysis/whatever. All I could do is stare at my screen, feel bad about not writing code and getting anxiety at not doing any progress when I somehow got the task of implementing "accepting payment". Two weeks before the big public presentation.

We ended up with everything working at like 11pm the night before the presentation and nobody was interested in our product.

Speaking as someone who's used it for years, it's also largely bc the font is hyperlegible, so your brain isn't doing as much work to parse what you're reading.
Can be helpful if yur brain's broken like mine and gets hung up in the processing part more than anything.
