Having watched all the tutorials I think I need to, I am trying to refactor my earlier code to better use features of Godot such as resources. It will likely be a tall order to have it ready for my programming partner by tomorrow, especially with more demands on my time coming up later today.
So far I have created new, separate sprites for a few basic ingredients rather than taking from the huge spritesheet I've been using as a placeholder. I also went ahead and created an Ingredient Resource class, as well as some basic implementations of carrots and water as my first such Ingredient Resources.
Time for a break, but the next part will be actually getting my IngredientButtons to display based on that resource.
