you know, i think scientists were so obsessed with whether there could be large cat, that they didn't consider the ramifications. i mean, it could sit on you. then you wouldn't be able to move

Counter point: the size of the cat is irrelevant, you couldn't move regardless of how big it was.
Came here to say this, all cats are effective immobilization devices.
