For a short time, Fluffies were working with their physics professor who works at CERN! And we were actually learning about the software framework they use. It was all mostly C++ with Python doing some organising tasks. It's also all a bit hacked together! Then, uh. Fluffies dropped out of college.
So we'd like to believe we were a little bit CERN for a little while!
Okay that is cool as hell. And yeah Python has displaced Fortran in a lot of scientific computing so that makes sense.

Oh, gosh. That is a thing in ROOT, isn't it. We never had the opportunity to work with ROOT much; this was all a couple of weeks before dropping out. Only used the GUI app to explore .root files and look through graphs.
6502 Assembly is vee cute, honestly. I used to play arounf wiff an appel II emulator and make tiny littel pwograms. I likedf that teh book I was using to learn said "well, if u wanna do math, like multiplication and division, u should use Basic, cuz it's like, too complicated to do it in assembly"
