Have had a hard time over the holidays trying to explain to family members what I do for a living. Showed them a video of Grapple Dog and it's like 'oh so who made that??' uh me... I made a lot of it and had help from freelancers + many others. I showed them the physical editions we made 'oh so it's a board game?? You cut out the cardboard yourself?? Is your job putting the box together??' no the game is digital it just... We made a physical edition as well. There were other people that helped with that. 'so it's in the shops??' no it's not in the shops you buy it online. 'so who draws all the characters??' me I do 'and then the characters get printed out and put in a box' no they... I mean yes sorta... in a roundabout way. but not literally printed out on paper 'do you want to make a job out of it some day??' it... It is my job... this is what I do for a living...
