I just brought Rush up with a friend yesterday, also haven't played it since it came out haha. I remember thinking Blaze was the coolest (and also thought she was related to Big lol). Naganuma continues not to miss!
I do not think any of Naganuma's music is slept on, and I think about the music from Sonic Rush fairly regularly and draw to stuff.
Also, Sonic Rush OST gives me an excuse to talk about Malcolm X.
Wrapped In Black goes SO hard and has lived in my head rent free since I was a kid.
sonic rush feels slept on in the sense that bringing up blaze to sonic fans always seems to lead to sonic 06 and shipping her with silver instead of talking about what a great arc she had in rush
i didnt play 06 so rush was my first intro to blaze and for the longest time i thought that was her first appearance
oh SHIT!!! I WAS RIGHT DA WHOLE TIME! for some reason i thought rush came out in like, 07....that simply may be just when i personally purchased it though hohoho
