My reflex actions are mechanized like Japanese camera tourists happily milling in Bloomingdales shooting at beautiful symbols

Everything else I've posted lately was either attempts to stretch my muscles or a synthesis of notes from early study in a field I'm only just getting a good grasp on now.

I saved the best for Saturday evening. This will likely be re-published elsewhere, hopefully in the near future. Its something that had been bouncing around in my head for a good while, but some people I met two years ago had no inkling about it and wanted to know, so I wrote the entire history out. Its not something easy to find online either, much less in English.

{If you want to find me elsewhere, I'm occasionally on Bluesky; Discord handle might be shared on request. I did make a Pillowfort account years ago, with regards to site with closer structure to cohost, but I never anything/anyone to actually use it, no idea if I'll turn to it}

I'm still not entirely sure on how to face the shutdown of cohost, just as I ended up not entirely sure when it came to find my footing here. And yet, something about this website compelled me to bare my heart. The first draft of this "coast" (?) was over 1000 words, and got as personal as I was willing to when it came to the big issues surrounding this shutdown.

However, I have been called "cagey" before (which is true), and good chunk of the draft focused on my displeasure for just dumping rambles that lose aim out in the open (which is what it became), so I shelved it.

I do still want to "coast" the key points, before my attention span gets in jeopardy again:

Racked my brain a little thinking of what could be a good sendoff song, this one popped up & it feels like the perfect fit.

Thank you for everything Cohost. We all flutter in a myriad directions from here but I hope we'll meet again someday.

I'm most often on Discord (handle shared on request); occasionally pop my head on Bluesky but will reply if directly contacted there.
