I could've linked this in my previous post, but I feel this (pre-Country Bear Jamboree!) animatronic band needs to be spotlighted in action.
Three more videos and photos of a different model can be found here (a website by antique organ restorers), and from its creator company as well, both full of less moving but just as visually appealing models.
My avatar and marquee images are details from listings of these organs, part of a mechanical instruments et al. collection auction from some months ago I came across.
My crop of the robots is not good, but that site saved these as .webp files, so between finding a way to edit the image and cohost's file size limit, my patience ran out fast.
I'm glad synthesizers are far lighter, smaller and not pieces of furniture on their own right; but they'd be even better if also built like pieces of art in their own right.
