In case it wasn't clear that I lived in the tropics tropics for most of my life.
- it never went below 23°C (72°F) in all 23 years of my life there
- the only seasons we had were monsoon and dry. See-sawed between rain every day and rain every 3 days
- And during monsoon season we could have thunderstorms (squall lines) lasting the entire day
- You cannot leave crumby or crispy food out, it will be soggy within a day (and/or the ants will get to it within 10 minutes)
- I never learned how to moisturise because it was simply Unnecessary. Also you can't tie your hair when it's wet because it will stay wet the whole day
I'm now living in subtropical Australia and let me tell you it is so much nicer here
