oh oh here's another. one of the earliest tracks I made 100% in FL Studio - it was made for a Jade Album that never materialised. tidied it up a couple of days ago, dang this thing still feels like a bottled sugar rush.

Wait a minute, cohost audio posts have gone live? well hello there, time for my inaugural music post
(I have an ongoing mission to rerecord all my old vocal songs and eventually put them back on Bandcamp. I panic-deleted them all off the internet back when I was living with a family that outspokenly disliked my singing, but mainly when friends started misgendering me after discovering my vocal songs. Took me 8 years to come to terms with the fact that it wasn't my voice I hated, but the way that people reacted to it. And people haven't reacted that way in a long time.
A couple years ago, someone said it gave them gender euphoria just hearing me sing and I guess I decided that sharing my singing is good, actually.)
Enthronement is a fairly ambitious song I wrote/composed when I was 16. I wasn't skilled enough to perform it back then. But recently I unearthed an ancient Audacity project from my archives, which had 16-year-old me's vocal recording intact, lyrics and all. So I went ahead and gave it another go.
Compositionally and lyrically, this version is almost exactly the same as the original. It just has better instruments and production. I might go back and compose a new version but there's something nostalgic about being able to hear my younger self's compositional signature in everything here.
