It's Jinai's apartment! I've had this space in a fair bit of detail in my head, but it was always a bit nebulous and stuff kept shifting around as the scene required, so I finally drew it out. Also took the opportunity to think about the things Jinai owns and why they're there, and explore her personality through it.
Of note:
- trophy on Jinai's desk - it's a junior national champion trophy and she just uses it as a stationery holder because it looks like a toy. the rest of her trophies and medals are in the cupboards under it
- orca plush on her bed - idk if she has any special attachment to orcas but I associate them with her thanks to Killer Whales by Smallpools (which I kinda see as her theme song)
- pics from Jinai's parents' home on her wall, including two of her and her parents
- Jinai has 2 of every utensil - this gets discussed later in the story
- wooden screen to (ineffectually) separate the bedroom from the study area
- floaty bedside lamp - Threads are the handwavey magic of Helfi and they are generally used to levitate things
- Anqien in their favourite spot (they crash overnight there sometimes)
- chopped onions? she tries to cook sometimes
