there is One thing i do miss about the old system of cataloguing likes in the manner of other sites.
i often (especially on Tumblr) used my likes as a "wow this is a really long and thoughtfully written post, i don't have the attention span to read it this exact second, but i'll Like it so i remember it exists later." however, i ALSO happened to use my tumblr likes to procure a collection of Delicious Images to then unleash upon my partner and roommate whenever they happened to be near me on the computer. these sessions would often end in tears. (good kind)
i'm a lot more okay with re-chosting funny things now because of the filters on the profile page. i used to not want to "clog" up my profile with reposts so people wouldn't be able to find the stuff i Actually put effort into, but now it's so much easier to find. however, for the "Read Later" option, i suppose my best bet is making a folder of bookmarks? we shall see...
