also if someone has a recommendation for a better DAW or general workflow to use than fucking Only Audacity (like i have been doing literally forever lol), that would be helpful. this may be the year i actually follow through on learning this stuff, but last time i looked at ableton my brain exploded so no promises
OH MY GODD THIS IS HEAT DLING RN also have you ever fucked with Reaper? its a pay what u want daw that has vst support and isn't super feature rich but it should do you so much better than audacity!!!
yeah i used reaper forever ago and can +1 reaper as someone who has basically very little experience in music programs i found it to be pretty beginner friendly!
can also vouch for reaper, its been my main daw for like 3-4 years now and it does everything i need it to + probably a bunch more stuff i havent even found out about yet? and its got a free trial that doesn't really "expire" (or at least it didn't before i finally paid for it lol)
