dude, the new year has not even started yet and i'm already really liking using my day-free techo so much more than the usual daily ones. i think i kept getting techos in the past because i wanted something with a monthly calendar that also had a bunch of pages to keep track of Various of Tasks for my brain, but the daily pages usually meant one of two things:

  1. i'm writing out some thoughts i have on something i'm working on (music, hobbies, therapy stuff whatever) and want to return to in the future
  2. a list of my active tasks i need to do, grocery list style, some of which can span multiple days

however!! with the daily version, you turn the page to go to the next set of days? that information is either gone forever bc my ass will NOT remember it if i cannot see it or trapped in the realm of "wait, which page was that on again..?"

i now, finally, have a system for dividing up sections of the day free pages so i can adjust to how i'm feeling at the time. when i don't feel like writing as much, a lot more of my "active pages" (the open two i'm working out of at the time) is devoted to just the daily day-to-day planning. but when i feel really inspired to write something or have a burst of creative energy? i can use up hella pages in a row and not feel bad about it and then just keep my daily tasks (the #2 above) on the new active pages." it's good!!
