Protip about traps, if you didn't know: while the big trap components like giant sawblades etc deal a lot more damage, they wear out a lot faster than conventional weapons. You can put a bunch of normal steel spears and axes and they'll basically last forever, while a giant axe blade will last like 6 hits tops.
yeah its like. 90% sawblades but i do have a few forged weapon traps stuffed with steel great axes and other stuff we got out of goblin sieges at the end. these last few forts have been the first few ones i used traps in so i actually didn't know that hckdhndkx
