It is an extremely good game, I've played through it a few times now. I try to play it at least once a year once it gets cold outside. :3

It can be a little hard at the beginning, the difficulty is very front loaded. The english patch also comes with a save that starts you out leveled up a little bit so it's not as difficult. Strongly suggest that if you're not a hardcore racing game weirdo (me).
I can not recommend playing it strongly enough.

i think i might give it a shot yeah. there's so many ps1 games i wanna play and haven't yet (i think chrono cross might be the only ps1 game i've ever finished???) plus "racing rpg" DOES pique my interest
It is, for sure, a Racing RPG made by Square in 1999. It's brilliant.
