i never gave any context for this post. my roommate was studying genealogy and found out that two of her distant ancestors got put on a prison ship to barbados by oliver cromwell. and we were both like "fuck that guy" at the same time
i guess what ended up happening at that point was that they stowed away on a ship bound for america and started new lives there. pretty cool
genealogy is really neat
