yeah. if a missionary got murdered for their missionary work it's because they deserved it. i have yet to hear of a single instance where a case could be made otherwise. if anyone finds an example i'd find it a fascinating read.

reminded of the christian missionary guy who was told "it is illegal to go to this uncontacted tribe's island they will literally kill you" and he was like "nah i'll be aight" and went there anyway. you may be shocked to learn that they killed him. deserved (because there was a chance he could have given them diseases they have no resistances for) and also incredibly stupid
