do graphic design degrees get less useful with age? i feel like design as a field is kinda timeless, no? like the styles and context change but the basic principles afaik stay more or less the same??
i mean, the core principles remain the same i guess, especially with typography. its just a bit difficult to imagine me going to an employer and being like. "hey i have no work experience in graphic design and also i haven't done it as a job since i got my degree". not to sound flip about it or anything
nothing stopping me from doing it on my own, though. might see if i can do that
