funny thing about me growing up is that i got the blonde hair and blue eyes all my cousins have (dad has black hair, mom and emily have brown hair but emily had blonde hair when she was a kid) so my mom tried to make me really feminine but i just swung back in the opposite direction when i was able to start making choices about my life.
idk it rubs me the wrong way when someone sees my short hair and goes "oh, what a waste, your hair is so pretty why don't you grow it out" (with the implication that i'll somehow magically become Feminine if i do this). like, Thanks For Your Input, But That's What All My Relatives Say About Me, So You're Not Really Breaking New Ground Here, Idiot
i fucking hate that type of weird genetics-based determinism people have like "you're WASTING it if you do/don't do THIS with your [conventionally attractive physical features]"
i guess i have a massive scar on one side of my face now so maybe people will stop bothering me about it
oh i also got my ears pierced when i was 5 for some asshole's wedding. i let my holes close 20 years ago though.
