D: easter, thanksgiving
F: 4th of july
any opinions on Juneteenth or Diwali (those are both becoming bigger holidays at least in the part of the US i'm in)
imo juneteenth is sorta like july 4th (around the same time of year and they have cookouts and stuff) but it's about the end of slavery in america and not about 🇺🇸PATRIOTISM🇺🇸, so juneteenth is objectively better imo. i've seen some juneteenth parties and they look pretty fun to me, the city had a big one in the park this year and i think they are doing it again next year
diwali sounds fun. idk how many people celebrate it around here, but you gotta love a big 5-day celebration. apparently fireworks are involved which honestly ive never been good with (which is the other reason why july 4th is ranked F) so i probably wouldn't like it very much. but everything else sounds like a blast.
im not ranking either of these bc i havent celebrated them (yet?) and it seems weird to rank holidays i have not celebrated by my own metric. but there you go
