i answered another ask about this earlier, but i mostly don't like him bc when the internet archive was distributing ebooks during the early days of the pandemic he got a bunch of writers to shit all over them cause he convinced them they would lose money. because people borrowing an ebook is TOTALLY the same thing as piracy. this ended up becoming a lawsuit which the internet archive lost earlier this year
i don't really have an opinion on his work or anything (though it's apparently just kinda mediocre) i just think he's another short-sighted, greedy piece of shit. he had me blocked on twitter because i said so
