If you're not so experienced with crosswords: I googled to work out a lot of the clues and still had fun with it! (Though googling some exact clues will get you answers directly from crossword websites, which is no fun, so I suggest searching more obliquely). And now I have a bunch of wikipedia tabs open which is a nice bonus.

reading over the clues again now that i know what's going on and cackling at "scrolls around for a while"

I'm so confused. I feel like sometimes the three clues all point to the same thing but sometimes they dont what is going on

You're right that was annoying at first but then once I got the only clue without a | in it it was pretty fun from there! My favorite was the senator
