i mean, not to say i'm a Really Good Artist, but like. i feel after a certain amount of time... i don't know how to articulate it.

maybe it's that a lot of art is building on basic artistic skills, and once you've built those skills using them becomes second nature to you, so you learn more advanced artistic skills and concepts, and the cycle continues as you continue to work and learn. until you're so far from the starting point that other people are like "whoa, you can just do that?" and then you kind of take a step back and are like "wow, yeah, this IS pretty impressive to random people, huh"
