(staring at ike's two stat levels with clenched teeth) i'm having a great time
really though, i never finished this game when i had a gamecube so its about damn time
do it for him and his two boyfriends (Soren and Ranulf) (you will know what I mean)
oh im aware
lmao when i was playing this game as a kid i was like "aw elincia and ike are such great friends :)" because it was novel to me that they didnt immediately fall in love with each other. and now i'm like. "of course they're great friends, mlm/wlw solidarity"
Maybe I'm used to the larger stats of Three Houses by contrast to how low PoR's is.
possibly yeah. older FE games are a bit notorious for giving their protagonists kinda shit stat spreads (6, 7, this one apparently if my friends are right)
roy FE6 is especially infamous for being an active liability to work around if he doesn't pop his good stats
my apologies if you already know this stuff. i could talk about fire emblem games for friggin ever
Nah, I only really got into the series with Awakening, I'd tried Radiant Dawn briefly and hated it similarly to how I hated Dark Souls and MonHun when I first tried them.
I've played and beaten Awakening, Fates: Birthright, and Three Houses: Golden Deer on Hard+Classic, but only got through the initial section as Alm in Echoes before putting it down and got decently far into Engage before also stopping.
oh lord, your first game was radiant dawn? no wonder you bounced off
that game is good but it's also a very weird fire emblem to play for your first one
yeah I died a bunch, thought it was unbalanced and bad, and stopped after like five hours
much like Dark Souls and MonHun
yeah ive heard that game is a little difficult to get into. awakening is much more new player friendly and introduced a lot of anti-frustraion features i enjoy. also i think radiant dawn is one of maybe like 4 sequels tops in the series. the other ones are FE3/12 (direct sequel to FE1) and Awakening (VERY distant sequel to FE1/2)
yeah, Pair Up was a bit busted to make things easier. I liked the turn rewind since 3H more in terms of helping you not mess up.
turn rewind is so great. that was the best feature they ever added in these damn games
