the backs are pretty well browned. i used less blueberries than i did almonds bc the almonds are in smaller pieces (i tried chopping the blueberries but i think it needs a food processor or something). it seems like the edges kind of exploded somehow bc the dough wasnt cold enough when i cut it maybe? they're good though. not too sweet. a little too buttery on some of them but the mouthfeel and taste are fine. blueberries work well i. shortbread.
if i make more i'm gonna consider bumping up the flour from 1.25 cup to 1.5 cup
