Me too, most days. And it's okay if you don't win that battle today, or tomorrow. Let's start there.

But you need to make art, right? Not for them, whoever they are. Not for money, or a few more clicks online. You need to make art simply because it's part of who you are. Like your height or the color of your eyes. Let's acknowledge that too.

If we can truly understand that, making art becomes about self-love. About being brave enough to be who you are today. Giving yourself the gift of seeing yourself. What do you think that would feel like?

It's still going to be a little scary, because you care about your art. But you can care for yourself just by showing up today. Try it, and notice yourself feeling better.
