so i was planning to try and have comix thumbnails for cygnet/wayward birds (my very, very, VERY self indulgent take on swan lake) done by now. that's probably not going to happen... but i'm determined to release at least SOMETHING this year and it's probably gonna be this. so for femslash february i'm going to post stuff from my bullet journal while i work on my thumbnails.
it's been 6 or 7 years since i first came up with my versions of odette and odile, so they've gone through several revisions. these are some notes on their outfits at current. the feathery cape thing they're wearing is a mantle, which is a piece of magical clothing that lets you turn into a bird and use other fun* bird magic, so they're pretty important in universe. i have a whole thing about them, but i should probably put it to paper first.
*bird magic may not actually be fun, and may come with crushing societal expectations
