was breezing through this game in a haze last night. really liked playing as Tails and sad that his campaign was like 10 minutes. really DON'T like playing as Knuckles but I'm almost done. would a snowboard even work on sand???

Snowboards absolutely work for sand boarding, but generally not as well sand boards do. You definitely sacrifice control, and doing it too much can shorten the lifespan of your snowboard.
