Yeye! It's a very gray/silvery purple. I've found it really difficult to get neutral-ish pastel blues and purples. Blue especially

I was Literally A Fashion Model for almost a decade so I am very accustomed to comments on my appearance and don't mind them at all from people who are normal about it, which you are so it's all good (as long as u don't dm me unsolicited dick pics like people do on tumblr cuz then i will have 2 kill u)
I reallyyy want to do a split dye with dark!purple and the mint green. I tried it a little while back, but since my starting hair color was red, the purple just kind of faded to a pinkish red after literally 2 days and stayed that way.

Ugh yeah, getting the darker colours to stick is a colossal pain in the butt! Dark purp+mint green would look fantastic imo! I take it you've tried colour retaining shampoos and such. I saw a friend once mention that to keep their colour, they put a small part of the (non-reactive-type) dye into a bottle with some conditioner, and washed their hair with that every now and then to basically just reboost the colour, but for a split that's gonna be a real headache... Woof.
I suppose I should be thankful in this regard! I simply have too much mediterranian testosterone in my blood, and it's salted the Earth-That-Is-My-Scalp, so I went full scorched earth and got rid of it all anyway! Used to have natural Elvis level pompf. I've had to embrace chroming the dome and salt+pepper Sea Beard in my early 30's. Cute Masc Dad vibes is what I've been told.
