to crop and resize an image bc it's the only thing installed on this computer, and i gotta say: still pretty bad

it's a result of a lot of Questionable Design Choices (you can't even fullscreen it on macOS!!!! madness!!!!!!). it's relatively usable to me, and i pretty much daily-drive it for image editing on conputers, but it could be way better tbh. it's got that learning curve.
yeah idk - i've been a long-term (15+ years) photoshop user/stealer and using gimp with that experience feels like trying to use my computer upside down lmao.
i've learned enough gimp over the years that it actually is enjoyable. never used photoshop tho. basically was just using preview and ms paint to compare.
