our first impulse is to jokingly be like "there's no such thing as Christ" as if that's an exaggeration of what people who go around saying "deny Christ" mean by it
but no, that's literally the exact thing they mean
so actually it's not so much of a joke, huh
I assumed it meant like deny letting christ "inside you" because christian theology has really weird wording about faith.
