Just spent like literally 1.5 hours beating one race in nfsu1 that Tom was stuck on. What the fuck is the difficulty curve in this game lmao

We aren’t even on hard mode and everything was faster than us on straightaways

i’ve been stuck at this race for over a day btw before tom took over.

currently on race 103/111 in underground 1, the 7 lap enduro one. i have resorted to finishing the game on easy but it doesn't actually seem to be making any kind of noticeable difference. at this point i'm purely driven by spite.

also i just got this up and running in anticipation of finally beating this game. thank you archive dot org.

actually, tom and i watched this video last night. i don't really agree with the recommendation against (re)playing nfsu but it feels good having my struggles w/ it validated lmao. sometimes it's just unfair and that's fine.

the video definitely worth a watch though.
