since we already got a desktops thread, we also need one for input devices. what are y'all's chosting implements of choice? everyone's welcome, even macbook butterfly keyboard users (rip to my 2018 mbp)

my current setup:

uhk 60 v2 w/ thumb cluster and trackball modules, and an elecom deft pro

really depends on what you're doing! I've gone the occasional day w/o my proper trackball and it was fine. I wouldn't wanna use it for games or other things that actually require precise inputs.

It's definitely good enough for regular desktop computing though imho. Another really cool thing I use a lot is that it can emulate both a scroll wheel or continuous arrow key inputs which can be nice for things like really big excel sheets.

(just ftr i used a full sized thumb trackball before switching to my current one and i really liked it for gaming and other stuff as well, i was talking specifically abt my experience w/ the trackball module for the uhk)
