i dislike reddit for a number of reasons but one of the worst things is that their shit ass website fucks with my ability to drag text around and it's absolutely infuriating

old.reddit stays winning (but also you're the only person i know who drags text on purpose) (good for you)
using word select (like double clicking and dragging) and then dragging that onto my tab bar is how i search for things a lot lol
and yeah sure, old.reddit works better but then i gotta deal with every subreddit's shitty custom css where half the time it's dark mode only + i gotta manually go there every time lol
I think it's only available if you have an account but you can disable subreddits' custom CSS BUT also
