macOS is very generous handing out swap space, it will happily use up a large portion of the disk
this may seem funny to you all but Ableton only do this when they're distressed. It begs the question, what exactly happened to the Ableton for this to occur?
i had to buy my Ableton a thunder vest for when it was updating to 11 lite, poor thing was just wrecking the bandwidth and ram at the same time π
