hello americans. where do you shop for clothes online? no ultra-fast fashion recommendations like shein or temu please. mostly looking for shoes and streetwear kinda stuff. both new and 2nd hand are welcome!

also if you have brick and mortar store recs for western mass or the greater boston area that aren't just "h&m" or "goodwill" i'd be interested to hear them too.

ive found a lot of decent deals on pretty sturdy clothes on the old navy website (probably applies to their stores too if u can find one) also idk really anything about mass or boston but if u can find a smaller local clothing focused thrift store that could be a good place to look, even if theres nothing there for u those kindsa places r always interesting to scope out IMO

I got a couple pairs of Allbirds on sale a year or so ago and have been quite pleased with them. They've recently shifted to a much more muted color scheme that's not as much my style, but I can at least vouch for their comfort and structural integrity.

I also keep a pair of Bloch split-sole dance sneakers in rotation to use on days that I'm mostly spending indoors and on paved streets. I originally got them to build up my arch strength, but immediately realized that they're fun to wear. One just has to be mindful of the cloth arch - you wouldn't want to climb a ladder in them. :eggbug-wink:
